About
About Graduate Lab.
Graduate Lab is an offline practice app for math, science and engineering that you keep on your own computer. Use it alongside your textbook, or to refresh what you learned and keep your mind sharp.
“I built Graduate because I wish I had a tool like this when I was in college.”
Graduate Lab is for anyone who wants steady, hands-on practice: a student working through a course with a textbook open, or an adult who wants to refresh the math and science they once learned. Some high-school algebra is enough to begin, and many early chambers will be review.
The path runs through eight wings: Math Foundation Studio, Geometry Atrium, Chemistry Bench, Applications Arena, Physics Hall, Mechanics Bay, Thermodynamics Environment, and the Graduate Vault. That is 291 chambers and 6,961 problems. Each chamber is a short topic with a worked example and numbered problems. Live benches let you turn a figure. How to solve walks one line at a time. Search jumps to a chamber or a problem type. A 16-item qualifying paper is there when you are ready. It is a practice paper, not a credential.
Graduate Lab is made by Glenar Laboratory. After the first open, it works offline. Progress is stored on that computer, in the Graduate window’s own profile and in progress.json in the kit folder. The installers do not carry progress over from the unzipped folder: use Export map there, then Import map in the installed app. What ships in version 2.7.9: the portable folder (unzip the whole folder first), Install Graduate App.bat and Start as App.bat for Windows, Graduate.app and Install Graduate App.command for macOS, Install Graduate App.sh and Launch Graduate.sh for Linux. The 2:44 tour and the user’s manual are on this website.
The license is personal. Classroom or multi-seat use needs a separate written license. Graduate Lab is intended for older teenagers and adults in independent study. It is not directed at children under 13. Payments run through Stripe. All sales are final, so please watch the full tour before you buy.
